BIGFI Conference on Central Banking and Big Data, November 14, 2024
Leading researchers will gather to explore data-driven insights on central banking, finance, and monetary policy at the BIGFI Conference on Central Banking and Big Data at Copenhagen Business School on November 14, 2024. Highlights of the day include keynote lectures by Professor John H. Cochrane (Stanford) and Senior Advisor Annette Vissing-Jørgensen (Federal Reserve Board). The conference will also feature presentations on critical issues such as the impact of monetary policy on global bond yields, housing markets, and firms’ perceived cost of capital.
Registration is free, but there is only a limited number of seats available. Register by November 6th on the conference page.
Call for Papers: Frankfurt Summer School, July 21-26, 2024
Deutsche Bundesbank, the Leibniz Institute for Financial Research SAFE, the House of Finance, and the Halle Institute for Economic Research (IWH) with the support of the network “Challenges of the European monetary and financial order” organize and cordially invite you to apply to the first Frankfurt Summer School 2024. The on-site training event will take place at the Deutsche Bundesbank Training and Conference Center in Eltville am Rhein on July 21-26, 2024. Call for Papers: Lillehammer Business Analytic Workshop, May 22-24, 2024
The workshop will focus on sharing and learning the latest research and real-life applications of business
analytics tools and techniques in banking and finance. Inland Norway University of Applied Sciences
(INN) will host the workshop, 30 years after the Winter Olympics in Lillehammer 1994. The workshop
will also be a celebration of our new MSc program in Business Analytics. The keynote speakers include
Hélyette Geman, Bruno Dupire and Alireza Borhani.
